As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Operations in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to guests and staff. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a welcoming atmosphere through clear communication, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects our values of agility, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted access points, assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and policy awareness for the location.
- Support hotel and resort operations by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate, while providing a professional presence and assistance during routine and emergency-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
