Second Shift Material Handler Forklift Operator Location: Auburn, IN Monday through Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM $17.50 per hour Some overtime may be required based on production needs We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Material Handler Forklift Operator for a busy manufacturing facility in Auburn, Indiana. This position plays an important role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are moved safely throughout the plant and operators remain stocked with the supplies they need to complete production orders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating a forklift as well as performing physical work throughout the shift. This position is responsible for moving unprocessed foam buns from storage areas to various production lines throughout the facility. Operators will use a specialized forklift equipped with a conveyor system on the front, allowing foam buns and materials to be loaded and offloaded efficiently at production lines. Operators will ensure production departments remain supplied with the materials needed to meet production goals.

• Operate a forklift equipped with a conveyor system to transport unprocessed foam buns and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and offload foam buns at various production lines using the conveyor-equipped forklift.
• Keep production operators supplied with materials needed to maintain continuous workflow.
• Move, organize, and stage foam materials throughout the plant.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and relocating materials within the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of material locations and inventory on the production floor.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Inspect materials for damage and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required. Ability to perform physical work including lifting, moving, and organizing materials throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of materials and locations. Reliable attendance and ability to work the full second shift schedule. Must be able to work overtime when production demands increase.
