Therapist / Licensed Professional of Healing Arts

Licensed Professional of Healing Arts (LPHA) is responsible for providing individual, family, and group counseling to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.

Services provided in a participant's home or appropriate community setting and may include Psychological Diagnostic Interview Examinations, treatment planning, and counseling in a group, individual, or family setting.

The Licensed Professional of Healing Arts will deliver services targeting increasing the youth's natural supports and strengths, fostering resilience and recovery.

The Licensed Professional of Healing Arts is responsible for accurately documenting services, attending Wraparound Team meetings as needed, and communicating participants programs to supervisors, team members, and the referring authority.

All services delivered in compliance with the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual, the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines, YAP Standards, and all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service.

Annual Salary: $55,000-$65,000

Master's degree in one of the following human services fields required; psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health.

Active Professional Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work required. Valid Texas Licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) Required.

Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.

Foster care experience is a plus.

Play Therapy experience is a plus.

Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.

Positions requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage.

Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking Applicant is required.

Position is considered fully remote.
