As an Inventory Accountant, you'll gain direct exposure to operations, leadership, and strategic initiatives while building a foundation for future career growth.We are seeking an Inventory Accountant to support inventory accounting, operational analysis, and strategic business initiatives across a growing organization. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, offering significant exposure to operations, inventory management, process improvement, and executive leadership.The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting with exposure to inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing, construction, or operational finance environments.Key responsibilities include:Monitor inventory transactions, balances, and reconciliationsSupport month-end close and inventory-related accounting activitiesAnalyze inventory variances and identify trendsEnsure accuracy of inventory valuation and reportingGather and analyze operational data across 20+ locationsPartner with field and operations teams to understand business performanceInvestigate discrepancies and provide actionable insightsSupport reporting and operational decision-makingAssist with process improvement initiativesSupport acquisition and integration activitiesProvide analytical support for forecasting and special projectsParticipate in cross-functional efforts that drive business performanceQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of accounting experienceGeneral ledger and month-end close experience preferredExposure to inventory accounting, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or cost accounting environments is highly desirableStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teamsAdvanced Excel skills are a plus
