Medical Assistant

Assist with receptionist duties as needed (check-in patients, open/close office)

Room patients and take vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and SaO2) and enter into progress note.

Review medications with patient and enter them into progress note.

Obtain patient History and Physical and enter into computer.

Collect all pertinent information from a referring physician for new patients.

Ensure that labs and results have been received and are available to physician prior to appointment.

Scan documents into patients' charts.

Clean medical equipment.

Any other duties required to keep office running smoothly, including assisting in answering the phone, returning phone calls, processing faxes, etc.

Reports to Lead Medical Assistant, Office Manager, and Doctor on staff

Pay Scale/Ranges: $21.00-$30.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).
