Job Title: Remote Benefit Customer Service Representative (Local Candidates Only) Location: Buffalo, NY (Work From Home OR Onsite - Must Reside Within 2 Hours of Facility) Pay DURING Training: $16.50/hour Pay AFTER Training: $18 /hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Benefits Customer Service Representative Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs During our busy season you will be expected to work a 40-hour week and overtime when requested. During our off season, your hours will fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need. Your choice of Remote Role or On Site, MUST BE LOCAL. You will go onsite for day 1 to pick up equipment and also be required to come in for meetings or major projects. The required availability for this position is Monday Friday between 8am -9pm. Benefits Customer Service Representative Responsibilities As a Benefit Customer Service Representative, you will have the rewarding opportunity to help our client members through the enrollment process, and when making updates to their health care and/or pension plans. We allow you the freedom to take the time necessary to provide the highest level of service. You will start out on one client, and with dedication to our clients, you will be cross trained to provide assistance on multiple clients. You will spend your day either on the phone, or providing assistance through web chat conversations and email. Benefits Customer Service Representative Requirements Excellent ability to communicate effectively using the English language in a customer service setting, including verbal and written communication skills in a grammatically correct way Ability to quickly assess member concerns and formulate a response/resolution using analytical and problem solving skills High level attention to detail, multi-tasking, and ability to organize work Experience using Microsoft Office with a strong ability to juggle multiple open computer windows to answer questions while on the phone/instant messaging Ability to work autonomously in a self-paced, self-motivated team environment Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to type 30 words a minute Must have excellent attendance and be punctual to work High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days If you think this Benefits Customer Service Representative position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
