Work Arrangement: On-Site Competitive Pay: $20.00 Night Shift Differential: $0.50 Shift: 4:00pm – 2:00am Monday - Thursday Job Description Are you a motivated and mechanically inclined individual looking for a challenging role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Do you have excellent self-direction and teamwork skills? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assembler/Builder to join our team, where you'll play a vital role in the process of making doors. Responsibilities Manually assemble door shells using pneumatic and manual tools in a fast-paced environment, ensuring correct components are used. Operate and maintain wood machine. Responsible for quality and production; troubleshoot required. Door assembly; door offload and stacking on the line. Loads and unloads parts online to be assembled. Follow work instructions and pay attention to details. Follow safety and PPE procedures and report violations to supervisor, leads, and safety. Achieve/performs daily targets and output of production. Meet quality standards for the line. Follow work practices in accordance with OSHA standards. Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and ISO requirements. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S requirements, rules, and regulations. Must be able to work required overtime as needed. Work with leadership and quality members to solve issues. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Strong team communication skills and ability to work with little direct supervision. High level of dexterity and skill to assemble doors, perform visual quality checks, and comprehend construction specs. Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate in English. Ability to read and write in English is not required. Basic math skills with ability to perform basic math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, plus knowledge of fractions and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to compare actual measurements to specifications and determine if finished product is acceptable quality. Able to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule format. Ability to work in a team environment; good interpersonal skills.
