Assembler/Builder Location(s): Charlotte, NC, US 28216 Function: Manufacturing Audience: Hourly Work Arrangement: On Site Shift: Night position working 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM Monday – Thursday Competitive Pay: $20.00 per hour Night Shift Differential: $0.50 per hour Responsibilities Manually assembles door shells using pneumatic and manual tools in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring correct components are used. Operates and maintains wood machine. Responsible for quality and production; troubleshooting required. Door assembly; door offload and stacking on the line. Loads and unloads parts online to be assembled. Follows work instructions and pays attention to details. Follows safety and PPE procedures and reports violations to supervisor, leads, and/or to safety. Achieves/performs daily targets and output of production. Meets quality standards for the line. Follows work practices that are in the guidelines of OSHA standards. Follows all Environmental Health and Safety rules and ISO requirements. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S requirements, rules, and regulations. Must be able to work required overtime as needed. Work with leadership and quality members to solve issues. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Strong team communication skills and ability to work with little direct supervision. High level of dexterity and skill to assemble doors, perform visual quality checks, and comprehend construction specs. Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate in English. Ability to read and write in English is not required. Basic math skills with ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to compare actual measurements to specifications and determine if finished product is acceptable quality. Able to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule format. Ability to work in a team environment; good interpersonal skills.
