Position Summary Training to become a daily operational manager—forecasting, planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling community operations in compliance with Eskaton policy, HUD requirements, and applicable regulations. Essential Job Functions Daily operational management, including forecasting, planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling all aspects of the operation. Co‑evaluate operational effectiveness with the Executive Director and recommend improvements. Plan and execute marketing activities to maximize occupancy and meet affirmative fair housing targets. Develop and implement new resident orientation programs covering policies, HUD requirements, and community resources. Support the establishment of resident organizations and oversee activities such as social events, committees, and community engagement. Prepare a monthly newsletter for residents on policies, activities, and other relevant information. Conduct regular campus walks to identify safety or maintenance issues and ensure cleanliness. Maintain constructive relationships with managers, peers, residents, vendors, and employees. Review quality of services, quality assurance programs, and resolve complaints. Adhere to safety guidelines, proper body mechanics, and wear appropriate safety gear. Compensation Starting salary $24.00–$26.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and market factors. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience with elderly persons. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management, staff, and external contacts. Strong managerial and interpersonal skills. Excellent fiscal, budgetary, and organizational skills with flexibility to shift priorities.
