High AUM Investment Counselor

This is a unique opportunity to mature your skill set through working with the highest valued client relationships at Fisher Investments, in a growing group committed to a collaborative and innovative approach to wealth management.The Opportunity:The High AUM Investment Counselor (High AUM IC) is the primary, long-term contact for the firm's UHNW clients. You will be the liaison between the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) and your clients, ensuring that portfolios are constructed in alignment with client goals. You will contact your clients to communicate how they are progressing towards their long-term investing goals. You will evaluate your client's objectives and collaborate with other groups to offer unparalleled service. You serve the client's continuing needs, with the aim to build a long-term trust and professional relationships.The Day-to-Day:Contacting new clients to welcome them to FI and discuss the client's account setup and transfer of assetsEducating clients on our top-down portfolio strategy, their investments, important market events and competitive landscapeDocumenting relevant client information, including background, financial situation, and conversations with clientsHandling all questions (by phone, fax, email, letter, etc.) and requests from your clientMonitoring and communicating IPC's strategy in the client's portfolioCollaborating with internal and external partners to fulfill client requestsYour Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredSeries 657-12 years of experience in asset management and client servicesProfessional experience communicating knowledge of securities and markets directly with clientsExperience interacting with High-Net-Worth clients of at least $5MM assets plusCompensation:Base salary steps down with increased tenure ($115,000 base for first 12 months, then step-down to $100,000 for months 13-24, and then final step-down to $85,000 base)Discretionary variable pay will transition from a defined quarterly bonus to a commission plan after 12 months.
