The part time ap specialist will support both the construction and property management sides of the business, helping manage day-to-day accounts payable functions during a busy period of growth.

Responsibilities Of The Part Time Ap Specialist:

• Process invoices and maintain accounts payable records
• Assist with vendor payments and check runs
• Review and verify invoice accuracy and coding
• Support payment application activities as customer payments are received
• Work closely with accounting and operations teams to ensure timely processing
• Assist with ap functions related to both construction and property management activities
• Help manage higher-volume payment cycles associated with active projects
• Support additional accounting tasks as needed based on experience and business needs

Qualifications For The Part Time Ap Specialist:

• Previous accounts payable experience required
  • Experience with job costing, billing, or change orders is highly desirable but not required
• Construction, contractor, or property management accounting exposure is a plus, but not required
• Sage 300 experience a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a small-team environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

Schedule:

• Approximately 24 hours per week (Tuesday and Wednesday are required workdays, third day is flexible)
• Typical office hours are 8:00/8:30 am to 5:00 pm (with start time flexibility offered if needed)
• Fully on-site position in timonium, md

Salary : $55,000-$62,000 depending on experience
