Sales Operations Manager

We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to oversee sales support, customer service, order processing, and sales operations activities for a dynamic technical products company. This role is based in Cleveland, OH, and involves close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing, IT, and senior management.

Duties

• Lead and manage Sales Support, Customer Support, Order Management, and related teams
• Supervise daily operations, team schedules, reporting priorities, and performance expectations
• Monitor KPIs, call center performance, sales support metrics, and operational data
• Manage business systems such as CPQ, CRM, customer service, and sales operations tools
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast revenue, plan expenses, design sales compensation, and provide quarterly reports
• Review exceptions in order processing, sales compensation structures, and approval requests
• Assist with sales reporting, monthly projections, forecasts, and business review preparation
• Enhance processes through continuous improvement, cross-functional teamwork, and efficient system utilization
• Oversee vendor agreements, renewals, and software relationships related to operations
• Participate in sales meetings, OEM events, vendor exhibitions, and strategic planning discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant experience will also be considered
• Leadership background in sales operations, customer service, order processing, or business operations
• Experience with Oracle CPQ or similar configure-price-quote platform is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Experience with CRM, reporting, forecasting, and customer service systems
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills
• Ability to collaborate across departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and support company growth
