We are seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead residential and commercial roofing projects throughout the area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising roofing crews, coordinating daily job site activities, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of roofing experience, strong leadership abilities, and extensive knowledge of multiple roofing systems and installation methods. We are looking for someone who leads by example, brings a positive attitude to work each day, and takes pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise residential and commercial roofing crews
• Coordinate daily job site operations and assign work to crew members
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
• Install, repair, and replace a variety of roofing systems
• Remove old or damaged roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation
• Install asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile, slate, TPO, and other roofing materials
• Read work orders, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
• Train, mentor, and oversee Roofing Installation Technicians and Laborers
• Monitor crew productivity and workmanship throughout each project
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
• Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate project updates, material needs, and job site concerns to management
• Safely operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment
• Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are secured to prevent property damage and maintain a safe work site
• Assist with hands-on roofing work as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of roofing experience required
• Previous experience leading roofing crews, serving as a lead roofer, or supervising construction teams preferred
• Experience with both residential and commercial roofing systems
• Knowledge of asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile, slate, flat roofing systems, and other roofing materials
• Ability to properly install roofing systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and manage team members in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with roofing tools, equipment, and installation techniques
• Understanding of OSHA safety requirements and job site safety practices
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel to various job sites daily
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction environment
• Daily travel to residential and commercial job sites

• Physical work requiring climbing, lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing
