Plant Manager - Mission Critical Manufacturing

Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations for a growing mission-critical manufacturing facility in Aurora, CO . This newly created position will support the expansion of modular data center infrastructure production and play a key role in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and workforce growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations, production teams, and manufacturing performance
\n
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals
\n
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
\n
• Manage workforce planning, labor forecasting, and production scheduling
\n
• Develop supervisors and production leaders through hands-on leadership
\n
• Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and manufacturing performance metrics
\n
• Partner with engineering and leadership teams to support facility growth
\n
• Conduct regular Gemba walks and maintain a strong presence on the production floor
\n

Requirements

\n
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
\n
• Proven experience managing plant operations and production teams
\n
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement background
\n
• Experience improving efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing throughput
\n
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs, budgeting, labor planning, and cost control
\n
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to thrive in a highly data-driven manufacturing environment
\n
• Six Sigma certification preferred
\n
