Research Lab Associate II- full time- Dermatology Research

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under minimal supervision, develops and conducts moderately complex research experiments under the general direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). Interprets data, identifies potential problems, and finds solutions.

• Reads research literature in the field.

• Conducts experiments and collects and analyzes data using various degrees of statistical methodology.

• May train other lab members in experimental techniques.

• Ensures compliance with animal care and occupational safety regulations.

  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, in a scientific discipline appropriate to the research department.

• One year of related post-baccalaureate experience in a research environment.

• Highly motivated and organized.

• Manual dexterity to operate complex equipment.

• Familiarity with statistical and research methodology is desirable.
