Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students in K-8th grade preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet unique student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Understanding of behavioral management techniques and classroom accommodations

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, individualized lessons for students with varied learning abilities
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Assess student progress regularly, using data to inform instructional decisions
• Provide academic and behavioral support within inclusive and resource settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to create cohesive strategies for student success
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and program goals
