TEMP-Business Ops Support (Bursar & Treasury Services)

Job Summary Provide professional services in support of unit management in a field specified in the particular job posting. The focus will be in a professional field such as Communications, Marketing, Customer Service, Academic Administration, Event Management, Procurement, or similar. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with unit management and staff, advise and counsel them, and does not supervise any staff. Responsibilities Perform duties related to professional field assignment. Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field. Provide input to department policies and procedures. May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets. May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience: Up to two years of job‑related experience. Proposed Salary $30 per hour Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Application of professional principles, processes, and practices; application of regulations; utilization of basic and advanced computer applications, including those specific to areas of responsibility; strong communication skills. Other Information This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P‑Card). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance.
