Job Description St. Andrews Village Retirement Community - Boothbay Harbor, Maine is searching for a Cook! The Cook role is vital in maintaining the health and well‑being of patients, families, and employees. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking a variety of meals according to established recipes, understanding food hygiene practices and safety regulations, and working effectively in a team‑oriented environment. The role also ensures the facility’s cleanliness, sanitation, and proper maintenance of equipment and supplies. Summary This position consists of 36 hours per week, evening shifts. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire. Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.
