Lone Star Facility Management LLC, a Texas-based provider of residential and commercial property maintenance and repair services, is expanding into Ohio and seeking a skilled, reliable Handyman Technician (1099). Reporting to an Operations Manager, you will service commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties within a local service area and nearby cities. Assignments and priorities are managed through central dispatch, and the role offers an advancement path to Lead Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance for commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.
- Complete carpentry, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, drywall repairs, flooring installation, and painting.
- Prepare accurate service estimates for repair and replacement projects.
- Manage daily assignments and priorities through central dispatch scheduling.
- Communicate professionally with customers to assess needs and provide effective solutions.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure completed work meets company standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify additional repair needs.
- Travel throughout a local service area and nearby cities to complete assigned work.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in multi-trade property maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, drywall repair, and flooring installation.
- Cost estimating experience.
- Strong customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills.
