Role Description
BIRDSVUE LLC is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Temporal Skill Consultant to join our client's team in the United States. This position involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal. The Temporal Consultant will be responsible for:
- Analyzing legacy workflow platforms and identifying migration patterns
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Temporal workflows, activities, and orchestration patterns
- Leading migration of legacy BPM/workflow solutions to Temporal, including workflow analysis and conversion
- Supporting workflow versioning, resiliency, and long-running process execution
- Building and supporting integrations with APIs, event streams, databases, and enterprise applications
- Developing reusable workflow frameworks, adapters, and accelerators to improve delivery speed and consistency
- Creating unit, integration, and workflow validation tests
- Executing testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of workflow solutions
- Supporting deployment, observability, CI/CD, and production stabilization of Temporal-based applications
Qualifications
- Required Skills (5-7 yrs of experience)
- Temporal - Temporal Workflows, Activities, Child Workflows, Signals & Queries, Workflow Versioning, Durable Execution Concepts, Retry & Error Handling Patterns, Temporal CLI and Observability Tools
- Development - Java (Preferred)
- Preferred Skills (3-5 yrs of experience)
- Development - Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, JSON/XML Processing, Git/GitHub
- Integration - Kafka / Event Streaming, SOAP & REST Services, Database Integration, Enterprise Application Integration Patterns, DevOps & Cloud
