Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday preferred
Hours: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; some flexibility may be available
Compensation: $40–$50 per hour
Start Date: July 13, 2026
End Date: September 8, 2026

A private residence in Sag Harbor is seeking a warm, organized, and proactive Seasonal Executive Housekeeper/Cook to support the household through the summer. The position may be structured as either live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate. The family may also consider a qualified domestic couple.

The home has one full-time resident, with friends and family visiting throughout the summer. A professional cleaning service completes a full weekly cleaning, so this role will focus on daily household upkeep, laundry, light cooking, errands, provisioning, and helping the principal host guests comfortably.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the kitchen, bedrooms, and common areas through daily tidying and light housekeeping.
• Handle household and personal laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and proper storage.
• Prepare simple breakfasts and lunches, as well as dinner when needed.
• Grocery shop and keep the kitchen, pantry, and household supplies properly stocked.
• Run household errands, including dry-cleaning pickups, post office visits, and other local tasks.
• Prepare the residence for visiting friends and family.
• Assist with guest service and help the principal host throughout the summer.
• Monitor household needs and replenish supplies before they run low.
• Maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming home environment.
• Work cooperatively with the weekly cleaning service and any other household providers.

The principal does not have pets. One or two small dogs may occasionally visit with family members, but no pet care is required.

Cooking Requirements:

Light cooking is required, including simple breakfasts and lunches and occasional dinners when the principal is dining at home.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of executive housekeeper/cook experience working for in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
