RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Endocrinologist in Northern NJ

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey in Newark, NJ are seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship-trained physician in pediatric endocrinology to join their Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of 5 pediatric endocrinologists and 2 APNs covering the RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH) Northern Region and will share call and be a member of the group clinically and academically. There is the opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students. There is a multi-disciplinary diabetes team with dieticians, nurses, and social workers in the Division. The successful candidate will split their time between the two institutions.

The hospital's inpatient and outpatient pediatric services include a state-designated regional perinatal center, pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric emergency department, Valerie Fund Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, neonatal ICU with New Jersey's first ECMO unit, HIV/AIDS treatment for children, and a sexual and child abuse program.

Children’s Hospital of New Jersey has multiple ACGME accredited residency programs and a strong academic affiliation with Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School (NJMS), serving as a primary site for undergraduate pediatric medical education. The Breast Center now has a dedicated MRI enhancing the continuum of care for patients.

CBMC is accredited by The Joint Commission and the American Medical Association Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
