Summary of Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be skilled in high-end finish carpentry, superior craftsmanship, and an expert understanding of wood properties, joinery, and specialized hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint & Design Interpretation: Read and precisely interpret architectural blueprints, millwork drawings, and design specifications to understand material types, grades, and exact finish applications.

• Precision Measuring & Layout: Measure, scribe, and mark cutting lines on premium materials using advanced layout tools, including marking gauges, lasers, and calipers, ensuring absolute accuracy.

• Fine Material Cutting & Shaping: Cut, miter, and shape complex molding, trim, and woodwork to exact specifications using specialized power tools, miter saws, table saws, and shapers.

• High-End Installation: Install premium architectural features including crown molding, baseboards, custom cabinetry, interior/exterior doors, windows, and high-end hardware.

• Cabinetry & Custom Built-Ins: Build, assemble, and repair custom cabinets, built-in shelving, vanities, and intricate wooden fixtures using advanced joinery techniques, wood screws, dowels, biscuit joints, and specialized adhesives.

• Surface Finishing & Prep: Prep, sand, and touch up woodwork, filling nail holes, cracks, and defects with matching wood fillers or putty to ensure surfaces are flawless and ready for paint, stain, or lacquer.

• Structure & Level Verification: Verify the absolute plumb, level, and squareness of all premium structures and installations using precision levels, plumb bobs, and lasers.

• Job Site Safety & Quality Control: Adhere strictly to established OSHA safety regulations, maintaining an immaculate and hazard-free work environment to protect premium finishes.

• Documentation & Professionalism: Arrive punctually to all job sites, maintain professional client interactions, and submit accurate weekly timecards at Monday morning safety meetings.
