Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Tue 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM; Wed 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM; Thu 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and vendor activity to help deter unauthorized entry and/or support orderly operations within the location. Assist with directions, de-escalation, and general support during routine operations and/or urgent situations while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. A guard card and/or license is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
