Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Gastroenterology

Description This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to provide advanced medical care within a collaborative environment focused on patient well-being and innovative treatment solutions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases and conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Perform endoscopic procedures as required Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care Educate patients and families on managing gastrointestinal health Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in medical education and staff training initiatives Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Active medical license in the state of Kansas Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred Level II Trauma Center Schedule: 24-hour shifts, specific dates Shifts available at multiple hospitals Daily Volume: 25 patients EUS & ERCP experience needed EMR: Meditech Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 Consultants
