Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations and provide effective treatment plans for patients presenting with a range of urgent medical conditions.
• Coordinate patient management through comprehensive discharge planning, collaborating with case management teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives aiming to enhance the cost-effectiveness and overall quality of care delivered.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding patient referrals and serve as a primary consultant for patients needing hospitalization for various diagnoses.
• Deliver timely and appropriate documentation to meet regulatory and insurance requirements, advocating for patients' coverage needs by appealing any denials promptly.
• Take part in both inpatient and outpatient specialty consultations, providing expertise and guidance to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
