Registered Nurse Supervisor The Registered Nurse Supervisor role at South Mountain Restoration Center offers a chance to make a meaningful difference every day. This position oversees nursing services to ensure residents receive high‑quality care and support. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating care, and maintaining a safe environment. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Guide staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care across multiple areas. Support collaboration among nursing staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams. Provide clear communication to residents, families, and staff while facilitating organizational updates. Offer ongoing training, orientation, and performance guidance for nursing personnel. Complete records, evaluations, and required reports while monitoring resident care quality. Respond to critical situations and ensure resident safety during urgent events. Work Schedule and Additional Information Full‑time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays. This may change based on operational needs. Overtime as needed. Free parking. Qualifications Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration). Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability. Special Requirements This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Other Requirements PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act, which requires submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
