WHY THIS ACCELERATES YOUR CAREER You will lead transactions from start to finish, not just support them. That means drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, equity documentation and closing materials on deals involving gas fired generation facilities, precision manufacturing operations and transportation infrastructure concessions. You will coordinate directly with tax, antitrust, restructuring and employment specialists, which means broader exposure earlier than most mid level associates get. You will also mentor junior associates and take on workload planning for deal teams, which means real leadership experience ahead of partnership conversations. WHAT YOU NEED Five years as an M&A associate with hands on drafting and negotiation experience on private M&A and private equity deals. New York Bar admission is required. The firm wants specific sector experience: industrial and construction materials, energy infrastructure, aerospace or precision manufacturing. Due diligence experience on complex asset classes, including power generation facilities and advanced manufacturing operations, is expected.
