Job Summary

The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery. This position involves operating and maintaining equipment, supporting production goals, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Participate in pre-job briefings and daily toolbox meetings
Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment at assigned location
Monitor equipment performance and report any issues, malfunctions, or deviations
Ensure equipment is prepared and delivered in alignment with operational needs
Assist in troubleshooting and participate in failure investigations when required
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
Follow manufacturing system guidelines to support continuous improvement initiatives
Shift: 2nd shift , 2:30 pm - 11pm

Skills Required

Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
Strong attention to safety and quality standards
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Education

Required: High school diploma or GED

Additional requirements

Opportunity for skill development and advancement

Work area may become warm during summer months due to heat generated by machinery

Pay rate

$19 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
2nd shift premium: $1 per hour
