Job Details Employment Type: Travel RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940 Unit: Med/Surg Ortho, Med-Surg Adult, and Med-Surg Peds Setting: General Med/Surg inpatient unit with medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and occasional pediatric care Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont 05819 Job Requirements Active Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN licensure Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association ACLS certification required Meditech experience preferred Experience providing care for primarily adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and in a collaborative healthcare team environment Influenza vaccination required Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process to guide clinical decisions Coordinate and deliver care for adult and pediatric patients in a Med/Surg hospital setting Support patients with medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed needs Work closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor Promote holistic patient care by addressing physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs Accurately document and communicate patient status in a timely manner Maintain a safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care environment Location Highlights Saint Johnsbury is located in Vermont’s scenic Northeast Kingdom, a beautiful region known for outdoor recreation, peaceful surroundings, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.
