Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


Job Description:
Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their hospital-based anesthesia team. The facility is a 180-bed hospital with 11 operating rooms offering a wide range of services including Cardiovascular, Vascular, Neuro, General, ENT (limited peds), Urology, Orthopedics, Robotic procedures, Colorectal, Podiatry, and Plastic Surgery. The CRNA will conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, develop care plans, administer various types of anesthesia, monitor patients during procedures, manage anesthesia complications, and provide post-anesthesia care and pain management. The role involves supporting out-of-department services such as Endoscopy, Cardiology, OB, and Radiology.


Candidates must possess a current RN license, NBCRNA certification, and have completed a Masters or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Board certification (AANA) is required. The schedule typically involves 8 or 10-hour day shifts. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $167.50.


This opportunity allows for collaboration within a team supervised by one MDA to four CRNAs, handling an average of 35 surgical cases per day. Additional procedures include arterial line insertions, IV insertions, and floor intubations. The hospital is a Level 3 trauma center with an annual ER volume of approximately 80 patients.


Credentialing is expected to take 90-120 days, with temporary privileges requested. The role is suitable for new graduates as well as experienced CRNAs.
