You will dive into the world of compensation administration, managing position descriptions, evaluations, FLSA testing, salary administration, and conducting in-depth compensation analyses. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge of, and experience with, compensation principles and concepts, compensation analysis and consulting, including market pricing, compensation plan/structure design, job evaluation and grading, and FLSA review. Excellent analytical and technical skills including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS. OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT: Demonstrated maturity in dealing with all levels of employees and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information. Strong planning, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills; able to multi-task. Current PHR, SHRM-CP or CCP certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus. Ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal and external vendors and customers. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. The expected pay range for this position is $70,000 - $97,500 annually. Smithfield Foods provides pay ranges that reflect its good faith estimate of thesalary or hourly wagethe company reasonably expects to pay for a positionat the time of hire. Individual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, location of the position, the candidate’s qualifications and experience, internal equity, external market pay for comparable positions and budget considerations.
