The team is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and financial reporting across the organization. By turning financial data into clear insights, FP&A helps leaders understand performance, identify opportunities, manage risks, and make decisions that support the bank’s goals.This role oversees a team of Business Finance professional roles that provide strategic financial analysis, insights, decision support and/or reporting results and/or provide guidance and advice to various internal and external stakeholders. Drives proactive thought leadership throughout U.S. Finance and delivers effective challenge to business partners.Depth & Scope:Oversees a team of Finance professionals for key business segments or a significantly large part of the organizationRequires in-depth shareholder and/or broad financial and business perspectiveScope may include integration of activities and Finance support for several key business linesFocuses on longer-range issues dealing with and solving highly sensitive, confidential and/or multifaceted and complex financial management issuesPrimary interface and high level resource to Business leaders on financial performance measures/business objectives/goalsIntegrates knowledge of the enterprise function’s or business segment’s overarching strategy in leading program design, policy formulation or operating standards within one or more areas of expertiseAnticipates emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvementsUnderstands industry and competitive trends and effectively incorporates into business strategy discussions and analysesSolves unique and ambiguous problems that have a broad impact on the business segmentDevelops and manages a team of Finance professionals capable of executing with excellence and in providing top tier advisory servicesEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree; graduate degree preferred15+years of relevant experienceAccounting or financial designation preferredPeople Management experienceSuperior partnership skills to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organizationDemonstrated time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skillsSkill in leading the effective development and execution of change management strategies and processes in a complex, multi-faceted businessPreferred Skills:Accounting experience preferredManagement reporting experienceStrong executive communication and presentation skills.
