Physical Therapist - School Setting in Noblesville, IN

Job Description

Bring your passion for pediatric physical therapy to a supportive educational environment, working with students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners while enjoying a schedule that prioritizes work-life balance.

In this part-time role, you will provide services three days per week, totaling approximately 20 hours. You'll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure students with diverse needs receive therapy that supports their physical development, mobility, and participation in school activities. Serving multiple schools across the district, you’ll design individualized care plans and track progress to help students achieve their goals.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active and valid Indiana Physical Therapist (IN PT) license is required
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Ability to work with students of all abilities, from early childhood through high school
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and the desire to collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary education team

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver physical therapy services to students, adapting interventions for individual needs
Educate staff and families on strategies to support student success
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
Comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
