Data Entry Support Specialist – Grants Management – ACF/OGM/OHS Remote Description GOH is a small management consulting firm supporting the federal government since 1997 ( We are seeking an energetic new team member experienced in Federal grants management to support our Office of Head Start client. GOH is recruiting in anticipation of potential future openings that are subject to final approval and funding. No guarantee of position availability can be made at this time; however, candidate identification and preliminary interviews are being conducted to support timely hiring should authorization be granted. The successful candidate will support data entry, record maintenance, and basic reporting tasks across federal grants management systems, helping ensure grant recipient and program data remains accurate, complete, and up to date. Duties and Responsibilities: Enter and update data in federal systems, solutions, and tools used to support the administration of Head Start grants (e.g., HSES, SmartFlow/Smartsheet) Support routine data processes to include data entry, storage, validation, and analysis Support data quality by ensuring up-to-date contact information, grant application cycles, funding and enrollment level changes, reporting due dates, and report receipt status Prepare and maintain project file folders with all completed work products, artifacts, and deliverables Provide basic reporting assistance and support ad hoc data requests as assigned Support the entry and formatting of standardized documents, correspondence, and mail merge processes Follow established data entry procedures and quality control checklists to maintain accuracy and consistency Support key pre- and post-award grants management activities, such as, but not limited to: annual report tracking, data management and analysis, data entry and QC for routine grantee metrics, correspondence, web content, surveys / forms and information collection tasks, SharePoint sites, preparing analysis and reports, help desk inquiry log, application screening, funding slates, decision letters, project abstracts, G5/GrantSolutions/HSES/etc. administration, closeout functions, and other activities as assigned Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications: At least an Associate’s degree in Information Management or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred At least 2 years of relevant professional experience directly related to the task activities High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Smartsheet, and other data platforms Experience with database systems and data entry Strong organizational skills Ability to follow established procedures Ability to pass background investigations as required for access to federal facilities and systems; position requires Public Trust clearance Work Environment: The work environment is a virtual/remote setting. Physical demands: The physical demands of the job include sitting for extended periods, and occasional walking and standing. Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time non-exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 40-60 hours per week. Some job activities may be required outside of typical workdays/hours. Overtime may be expected during peak periods.
