HSHS St. Mary's Decatur is seeking Anesthesiologists for W2 and 1099 openings in Decatur, IL. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care within a modern 244-bed facility overlooking Lake Decatur. The hospital combines modern technology with its founding spirit. Situated on an attractive 21-acre campus, it overlooks Lake Decatur. Offers a broad spectrum of comprehensive health services. Diverse case mix including ortho, general, urology, and more. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment. Obtains and/or verifies patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed. Compensation W2 and 1099 PRN options available. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician.
