In this role, you will be responsible for hands‑on assembly and disassembly, executing software commands, contributing to experimental design, and providing technical support to internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, a problem‑solving mindset, and a desire to learn and expand their skillset in a dynamic lab environment. What you'll do Mechanical Assembly & Technical Troubleshooting Assemble and disassemble complex systems and equipment. Perform in-depth mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Develop and document assembly and disassembly procedures. Contribute to the design and improvement of experimental setups. Demonstrate excellent skills in following and developing technical instructions. Technical Support Provide technical support to internal teams, assisting with experimental setup, execution, and analysis. Investigate and resolve technical issues related to lab equipment and processes. Document technical findings and solutions. IT & Hardware Support Perform intermediate IT tasks, such as troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and network configuration. Assist with setting up, maintaining, and optimizing computer equipment. Utilize and expand advanced computer skills, including Linux command line, scripting, and data analysis tools. Disassemble and reassemble computer hardware, displays, and specialized equipment. Other Collaborate with team members to plan and execute experiments, ensuring efficient workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Contribute to the development and implementation of new lab processes and procedures. Qualifications Strong technical literacy and competency. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Willingness to learn new skills, particularly in specialized lab techniques, IT, and computer systems. Experience in a lab environment is a plus.
