Job Title: Director of Patient Services (DPS)

Compensation
Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000 per year

Location: Bronx, NY - Onsite

Position Summary

As the Director of Patient Services (DPS), you will provide overall clinical leadership and oversight for a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA). This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations and organizational standards. You will lead clinical operations, oversee nursing staff, monitor quality outcomes, and collaborate with operational leadership to support growth, regulatory readiness, and exceptional patient experiences.

  • Hours per week: 40

Key Duties:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all home care operations to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams, supporting professional development and performance management
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, quality indicators, and compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations
  • Partner with operational leadership to support census growth, patient satisfaction, and organizational goals
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives that promote patient-centered care

Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred (if applicable): Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Additional certifications (if applicable): N/A

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations governing LHCSAs
  • Proven leadership experience managing nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent clinical judgment, regulatory compliance, and quality management skills
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
