Quick Facts Location: Paducah, KY Start Date: 07/24/2026 Duration: Ongoing 6-7 days/month (potential for more) Shift: 7a-7a, in-house call coverage Hours/Week: Flexible based on coverage needs Employment Type: Locum Licenses/Certifications: Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Previous OB/GYN hospital-based experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate (details discussed upon application) Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit Benefits include: Comprehensive medical insurance (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and related reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do Provide inpatient OB/GYN care, including routine and complicated deliveries Perform low-forceps vaginal deliveries and assist with C-section decisions Manage high-risk pregnancies and perform necessary procedures such as VBACs and repairs of third and fourth-degree lacerations Collaborate with midwives handling their own cases and deliveries Participate in on-call duties, including emergency obstetric procedures Use EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management Support the hospital s Level II nursery with essential obstetric services What You Need Active medical license in Kentucky or ability to obtain one Certification or eligibility in OB/GYN (board certification preferred) Minimum 2+ years of hospital-based OB/GYN experience Ability to perform routine and complex obstetric procedures Strong decision-making, communication, and team collaboration skills Preferred: Experience with EPIC EMR, small volume of C-section patients, hospital-based obstetric care About the Assignment Join a hospital that delivers approximately 700-800 babies annually, with a low volume of C-section patients.
