Associate Portfolio Manager - Wealth Management (Hybrid)

The Associate Portfolio Manager works closely with Senior Portfolio Managers and advisors to manage investments of client accounts. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering excellent client service, with exceptional organizational, communication and administrative skills You will join a team of dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused professionals who are focused on delivering on our founding core values: Integrity, Entrepreneurial, Excellence and Community.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Investment Director and other senior members of the team to administer investments in client accountsWork as needed as part of the portfolio management team to support trading and portfolio management functionsWork on model changes and rebalancing for Tamarac accountsMonitor asset allocation of client accounts and conduct rebalancing utilizing trade order management system as necessaryMonitor cash levels in client accounts and adjust as necessaryProduce periodic reports from trade order management system as necessaryWork with compliance to document and report on trading activityAssist with other compliance related tasksEnter, maintain and report on data in portfolio management systemCollaborate with Financial Advisors to enter and analyze data in investment portfolio proposals as necessaryProvide progress reports to manager and senior team members communicating timelines, delays, projected and mitigated issues, and outcomesPerform duties consistent to plan and within a professional framework representing the Company's goals and objectivesPerform additional duties as necessary in order to support and enhance investment department objectivesAdhere to all company policies and procedures and perform business functions with focus on consistency, quality, and complianceQualificationsUndergraduate degree required, preferably in business, finance or economics related major; participation in the CFA program preferred3-5 years experience in investment related field; portfolio management and/or securities trading experienceStrong interest and knowledge in financial planning and wealth managementInterpersonal skills, productive working within a team structureExcellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and exercise discretion without immediate supervision at all timesAbility to multi-task under pressure, prioritize workflow and assignments in a deadline oriented environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to organize and present data; strong Excel and/or programming skills a plusExperience with Tamarac or other trade order / portfolio management softwareExperience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Schwab, and Fidelity platformsCompensation: Our base pay range is $79,000.00 - $110,000.00 (per year)What We OfferWe offer a highly competitive suite of holistic benefits designed to help our team members balance their personal and professional life commitments.
