Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees**What You'll Be Doing:*** Oversee daily storeroom and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper material flow, and safe handling practices.* Implement and maintain effective systems and processes for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and documenting materials, including ERP (SAP) transaction accuracy and reporting.* Coordinate closely with maintenance, production, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast needs, manage purchase orders, support operational requirements, and assist with cross‐border shipments.* Lead, train, and support storeroom staff while fostering a safe, compliant, and productive work environment aligned with PPE, quality, environmental, and audit standards.* Maintain strong inventory discipline by monitoring stock levels, identifying slow‐moving, obsolete, or critical items, and recommending appropriate adjustments.* Execute and oversee inventory controls such as cycle counts, physical inventories, variance investigations, and continuous improvement of stock accuracy.* Organize materials efficiently by managing storage, labeling, equipment use, and warehouse layout to optimize space and accessibility.**What Are We Looking For:*** 3–5 years of experience in industrial stores or warehouse supervision; cement or heavy industry preferred* Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP platforms, ideally SAP* Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; not required* Effective communicator and collaborator across functions, vendors, and logistics partners* Skilled in organizing work, prioritizing in a fast‐paced industrial environment, and leading a team**What We Offer:*** Competitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive plan.* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions.* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:* Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits* Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement - Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)* AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life InsuranceEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
