Pharmacy Tech (Shift Differential)

Location: Warren, MI (on-site)
Pay: $24.45/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, rotating weekends
Type: Contract (40+ hours/week) — potential to convert based on attendance/performance/business needs

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site opportunity in Warren, MI with a well-established organization and strong potential for career growth.

Compensation & Benefits

$24.45/hour
Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days
401(k) with company match available to eligible employees

Key Responsibilities

Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery
Label products accurately (including cautionary/auxiliary labels)
Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding (liquids, powders, ointments, etc.)
Enter patient/prescription data into the system to generate labels
Support inventory processes (stock checks, remove expired meds, etc.)
Process returned medications per pharmacy protocol
Assist with training/onboarding new pharmacy staff
Work in specialized areas such as Controlled Drugs/Narcotics Room
Operate automated packaging/prepack machines
Mix IV medications and help maintain IV room sanitation/equipment (as needed)
Service facility-based dispensing machines (e.g., RxNow)
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Active Pharmacy Technician license (per state requirements)
Previous pharmacy experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Comfortable using computers and accurately identifying medications
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred

Long Term Care pharmacy experience
Compounding, IV prep, or medication packaging experience
