TECHNICAL SALES ADVISOR 1

Black Creek, GA, US Daniel Defense engineers and manufactures the world’s finest weapon systems and accessories. Job Summary: The Technical Sales Advisor will be responsible for the functions outlined below. Essential Functions: Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures. Manages the Daniel Defense fleet of demonstration and trade show firearms. Including shipping firearms to various events. Maintain and repair demonstration firearms, replace worn parts, clean and lubricate firearms. Keep records of firearm shipments and conduct routine inventory audits. Train Daniel Defense customers, including law enforcement and military on armorer level tasks with Daniel Defense firearms. Plan and conduct live fire demonstration events for Daniel Defense employees and customers. Ensure and provide timely quality service to all customers. Respond to customer inquiries by phone, e-mail and web contacts to provide technical problem resolution within the timeline established by Director of Revenue Operations. Resolve intermediate and complex customer problems and communicate solutions or requested information to the customer. Analyze customer’s service needs using experience and refer to other service or technical departments as a last resort. Utilize a database to record activities and research product information. Work under limited supervision in both office and remote settings. Rely on experience to perform the functions of the job. Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity. Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment. Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ yearsof prior Customer Service experience or equivalent combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field. Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must. Must be able to manage time efficiently. Great attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self‑motivated; willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed. Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word). Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Company Values. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day – extensively at trade shows, meetings, etc. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
