Field Service Technician

Empowered Hospitality is on the lookout for a rockstar Field Service Technician for our fantastic hospitality client located in New York, NY! What We’re Looking For Tech-comfortable with the ability to install, learn, and support POS systems and in-store technology 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, commercial kitchen equipment repair, or a related field Strong hands‑on experience with cooking equipment, refrigeration/cold line, and general electrical/plumbing troubleshooting Comfortable working in a fast‑paced restaurant environment — ideally with prior kitchen experience (chefs encouraged to apply) Proven ability to diagnose issues, problem‑solve independently, and know when to elevate to licensed vendors Experience coordinating external contractors (electricians, refrigeration techs, plumbers) and managing follow‑through Highly organized and reliable, with the ability to manage your schedule across multiple locations Strong communication skills — able to work cross‑functionally with operations, culinary, and leadership teams A proactive mindset with a focus on preventative maintenance, not just reactive fixes Curious and growth‑oriented, with a genuine interest in learning restaurant technology and automation systems What Our Clients Offer Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunity to be part of a new and exciting concept!
