Make a meaningful impact in the school community by supporting middle school students’ communication and learning needs in a full-time, onsite speech-language pathologist role. This rewarding contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027, offering stability and professional growth as you work with students, staff, and families.

You’ll provide comprehensive speech-language therapy, addressing a variety of communication challenges and collaborating with educators to cultivate an inclusive, academically enriching environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (CA SLP)
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA
• Previous experience with middle or secondary school-aged students preferred
• Ability to perform onsite, full-time (37.5 hours/week) contract schedule
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Skilled at conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and maintaining documentation

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, administrators, and families—to support student needs
• Manage caseload, track progress, and maintain timely records
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute expertise to IEP meetings
• Provide guidance and strategies to school staff to foster communication development in the classroom
