Construction Accountant

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Overview A large general contractor located in Boston seeks a reliable individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment to fill the position of Accountant. This full-time position reports directly to the CFO. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package as well as a great working environment. Essential Functions Manage the accounts payable function in its entirety including invoices, statements and vendor inquiries. Complete all credit applications and obtain W-9 compliance paperwork to set up new vendors. Enter purchase orders and subcontracts into Procore & Sage 300. Responsible for subcontractor compliance including receipt of signed contract, signed lien release and insurance certificates. Process payments to vendors and subcontractors. Compile, review and reconcile credit card statements monthly. Provide support for yearly financial audit. Other projects, as assigned.
