This position is responsible forthe strategic and day-to-day management of facilities operations across McNICHOLS 20 locations nationwide.This role ensures all facilities aremaintainedin a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner while supporting business growth through expansion, renovation, and capital improvement projects. The Facilities Manager serves as the subject matter expert for equipment, building systems, maintenance programs, vendor management, and technical facility operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial facilitieswhois able tooversee large-scaleprojectssuccessfully, including renovation projects or build-out of new leased warehouse spaces. Responsibilities Oversee facilities managementrequestsand vendor relationshipsacross20locations,with the supportof anadministrativeteam. Serve as the technical resource for facility-relateddecisionsto supportroutine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities. Identifyopportunities to improve reliability, safety, andcompliance with company standardsorregulatory requirements. Provide guidanceandtechnical supportfor projectsinvolving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, fire protection, security systems, lighting, dockequipmentandproductionmachinery. Maintainfacilitydrawings, floor plans, andequipmentdocumentation. Lead facility expansion, renovation, relocation, and construction projects from concept through completion.Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and contractor specifications. Develop andmaintainrelationships with national and local service providers bynegotiatingcontracts, monitoring performance, and reviewing cost to achieveoptimalvalue. Servea key member of the Safety Committee and directly oversee safety equipment, correctiveactions, andprojectstomaintaina safe working environment. Manage facilitiesbudgetsandidentifyopportunities for cost savings. Partner with senior leaders toestablishand maintain emergency response procedures and business continuity plans related to facility operations. Qualifications 5+ years of facilities project management experience inmulti-siteindustrial, warehouse, or commercial facilities. Proven experience leading facility expansion, renovation, or construction projects. Strong vendor and contractor management experience. Experience managing capital and operating budgets. Strong understanding ofwarehouse equipment andbuilding systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection,andsecurity systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience withfacility management software. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and facility compliance requirements. Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Ability to travelfrequentlybetween locationsand serve as a hands-on technical resource as needed.
