Low Voltage Service Technician
The Low Voltage Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage electrical systems. Responsibilities:
- Ensure installation projects and service calls are completed on time and on budget
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and their staff
- Test electronics using standard equipment, analyze results, and determine the need for any adjustments
- Teach clients how to operate and manage installed equipment
- Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry according to engineering instructions
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary
- Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing operation of equipment
- Ensure all work and materials meet quality standards in accordance with company policy and industry standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years' Low Voltage experience required
- Industry related certifications are a plus
- Healthcare/hospital project experience preferred
- Relevant and current industry technical knowledge
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Proficient in the use of basic computer functions
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on systems
- Ability to simultaneously handle, prioritize, and solve problem effectively
