Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Wilmington, DE
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, ensuring you have access to excellent equipment and competitive compensation.
Home Time:
- Enjoy returning home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are structured for steady miles while allowing you to maintain family connections and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate control. You can take your assigned truck home, provided there’s safe parking.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily work with dry van freight that features 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This means less physical labor, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Our drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly, based on mileage and performance. Additional perks include detention pay as per customer policy, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Our routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Enjoy $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
