IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: New York, NY
Duration: 12 Months

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for the scoping, planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure projects . The role will focus on delivering new capabilities through IT applications, services, infrastructure, and technology implementations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with stakeholder expectations.

• Work with project stakeholders to define and manage:

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders to ensure alignment, visibility, and transparency.
• Manage vendor engagements and ensure accountability for deliverables, timelines, quality, and project commitments.
• Develop and maintain project management documentation, including:
  • Project Charter
  • Project Plans and Schedules
  • Implementation Plans
  • Status Reports
  • Risk Mitigation and Contingency Plans
  • QA Plans
  • Project Budgets and Cost Plans
  • Capital Funding Requests
  • RFPs
  • Strategic Plans
  • Business Continuity Plans
• Account for resource capacity, organizational changes, competing initiatives, dependencies, and project constraints.
• Apply project management methodologies, processes, and tools to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
• Mentor and guide diverse project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of project deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, presentations, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Support decision-making, issue resolution, and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.

• 6–8 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, preferably managing the full project lifecycle of large and complex enterprise-wide technical projects.
• 5+ years of experience working with or supporting IT infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing diverse project teams, including internal teams, system integrators, vendors, and quality-control teams.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency with tools such as:

• Working knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure technologies, including:
